Finla Project- Finalized w/ Textures
Ok so this was a very fun and exciting project we had for our final class. My proposed level was a post apocalyptic setting where the devil has taken over Chicago and has burned and destroyed Wabash street and the Trump tower. Final Project- Design Process
This is my design process to my final project. Im still not finished withit but this is a good start. I changed my whole concept once I got going. Instead of the Lord of The Rings. Im doing an Apocalyptic Chicago theme. SO far what I did was light the sky up with some firy red and orange mixture, with some black in it giving it a hell sensation. After that I burned all the building ith the burn tool, the to one buiklding I added some dirt to it with my custom brushes.

Final Project- Part 1 Concepts
Well this is for my final project, which finally we can put some of our creativity in it. So while I was at work I started writing down ideas of things I could do for this final Matte Painting. The Ideas were coming to me real quick actually. But known of them were seeming so right. I had tidal wave hitting chicago, A Never-Ending pedway, Alien Invasion of the city, and many more. Then me and my friend were at John Barley Corn grabbing a bite to eat, and I was telling him what I want to to do. Then we came up with a great idea. The Concept I'm going for is kind of a lord of the rings feel to it. Take a picture of the sears tower as Sauron's tower. Then take a picture of an eye and paint it in to the tower, using maybe some filters to go along with it. Then take pictures of rocks and hills, and try to make them volcanoes. Then do some color correction, some shading and high lights. Then go from there, this is still just a concept of the supposed level.

London Town
In this assignment we had to change it from day to night. First step I went about doing was to clean the plate which means getting anything you don't want out of your scene. Then i gave it some color adjustments messing with curves, levels, and brightness and contrast. After this I went into the channel box and selection one of the option red , green, and blue. The one that had more contrast I chose which was blue. Then started to painted out the silhouette which was going to be the layer mask. After this i equipped the layer mask to one of my layers. I inverted the selection and deleted the sky. In which I added my own sky which has a night time feel for it and eerie kind of moon. Then after this I started giving it photo filter and a color fill to get the night scene just right. Then I added a detail of a river to give it an creative edge so it doesn't look so boring. I added detail to the stream to get it blend right with the ground, painting the edges a mixture of gray and blue, then giving the blending option to overlay so it looked just right. Then the final step I added fog. This was a pretty fun project, I do see my improvement in this class with Photoshop I can't wait to start this Final Project. This project also gave me some new skills for advance selection that I could of used in earlier projects.

Space Matte Painting
This might be the best one so far, in this one I turned the background into a cosmic universe with some beautiful colors that I thought Mixed very well with each other. The I gave the Plant Neptune some light, and put some shadows in there. The big thing I did though was makle the planet look like it was exploding by combining the wind style, radial blur, and the polar postions. Then giving it a light blue supernatural explosion to put a little creativity into this project. It took me about 4-5 hours to do this. This was very fun I hope you enjoy.

Cathedral Matte Painting
This was a cool project to do. We had to use 5 photos and manipulate them to make a whole painting. I used the burn tool to make the pillars look old, the used a soft brush to make the cracks in them. I then used the grass brushes to gover the tile, i blended it 3 times to make the grass look some what real. I engulfed the chairs in flames. I put a tombstone in the far middle. The rock on the right side. Chains hanging from above. The vines wraped around the rock. Then I gave it the Assaisins Creed look.

Matte Painting 1
This was one of the best projects in this class so far, i took this beyond believe it took me about 5 hours to get this, painting the building holes, the smoke the fire. I just don't knows what else to say. It came out pretty good.

Textures and Maps
What we did In this Weeks Assignments was creating a texture on a wall. I did this by first changin the image size to 2048x2048 and the resoultion is 300dpi. Then after I used the offset to change the pixels to 1024. After that I used the healing brush to make them image look the same on each side. The after that I used some dirt brushes to make the walls look really dirty. Finally I used Blood Splater brushes to illuminate the feeling of death. I have the 3d previews, also have Th Normal Map. Specular Map, and Diffuse Map. This was a really fun project texturing seems very fun.

Brushes
These are the 5 brushes I picked. I did what they looked like when they were just a stamp, the then second part is when I tweaked them a little bit to give them a more of a better look. The first brush I did was a Blood Splatter, the second was Bullet Holes, The third was a patch of dirt. The fourth was cracked glass. Finally the last one was a Tidal wave. I picked these brushes because I though it would be useful for me In the upcoming years. These were my first brushes I ever made.

Layer Styles
In this Project we had to use Layer Styles, Layer Adjustments, and Blending Options. What I did was first make a copy of the background Image. Then for the next 8 layers I used layer adjustments like Hue/Saturation then quick mask a certain selection, then edit it by using some layer styles and blending options. By doing this I created a crazy mixtures of colors which lead to a crazy design in my mind.

ZBrush
So I was just messing around with Zbrush, since the workshop I just fell In love with it. I tried creating Martian The ManHunter from the Justice League and Some insect creature. It took me about 3 hours a piece. I hand painted them also, I got to say this was very fun for just In my spare time. I Hope you enjoy, im thriving to get better.

Color Correction Project In PhotoShop
Well this project was about distorting the colors to make a piece of fruit look more ediable. I took a picture of grapes that I found laying around. The things I did to the picture was first crop everything out of it only leaving the grapes behind. Then I messed with the color balnce of it and the Hues and saturation to make it a bright red so it looks more ediable then it already is. The after doing all this I put a wooden background behind it to give it more emphasis. This project was pretty easy and fun it was just messing with the image and its adjustments you can do to it and there is alot. From putiing the shadows in to brighting up the picture or even using histograms. For someone who doesn't know alot about Photoshop this project helped out alot. In the futre I think this lesson will help out alot.

Game Design 1 going Into 2
So in my first Game Design class I learned alot, learned what goes into a good game also how to write a pitch document. Actually I made my first game which was One guy vs waves of monsters, he had to survive as many waves as possible intill he died or all monsters are dead it was called Monster Attack. The pitch document I came up with was for my dream game called Nathan's Destiny. Now im in my Game Design 2 class and actually very excited to further myself.
